CAUTION
Certain of these RPM’s will produce with the wheel diameters specified peripheral speeds exceeding 6500 fpm (33 m/sec). Make sure the wheel you use was designed for this.

For a point length (l) of 10 mm (25/64 in.)
EXAMPLE:
Assuming d = 1/8 in. (3 mm), s = 1/4 in. (6 mm), L = 3/4 in. (19 mm). Max. safe speed is then 80,000 rpm. See curve A.
